Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - 17 December 2017:

Aramex, the disruptive leader in the global logistics and transportation industry, has appointed Abdulaziz Abdullah Al-Nowaiser as its general manager in Saudi Arabia. This comes as part of the company's growth strategy aimed at further expanding its operations in the Kingdom, and enhancing the range of products and services offered to customers.

Al-Nowaiser is the first Saudi-national to take this leadership position at Aramex, which reaffirms the company's commitment to empowering Saudi youth to take on more leadership roles. In line with the Kingdom's 2030 Vision, where the logistics sector is a key pillar, he will look to deliver improved products and services in the Saudi market.

Commenting on the new appointment, Hussam Baraqouni, CEO of Aramex in the GCC, Levant, Turkey and Central Asia, said: “Saudi Arabia is one of the most important markets in the Middle East, and Abdulaziz’s commitment and managerial talent has had a significant impact on our growth in this territory. Al-Nowaiser joined the Aramex team in KSA over 15 years ago. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He has completed a series of specialized training programs in the USA, and a number of Arab countries, most notably the Executive Management Certificate from the American University of Beirut.
