Veröffentlichung gemäß § 26 Abs. 1 WpHG

Die Deutsche Bank AG London, Großbritannien, hat uns gemäß § 21 Abs. 1 WpHG Folgendes mitgeteilt:

'Pursuant to section 21 (1) WpHG ('German Securities Trading Act'), we hereby notify that the percentage of voting rights of Deutsche Bank AG, Theodor-Heuss-Allee 70, 60486 Frankfurt, Germany, in Axel Springer AG, Axel-Springer-Straße 65, 10888 Berlin, Germany, exceeded the thresholds of 3% and 5% on 15 December 2008 and amounts to 8.35% (2,753,301 voting rights) as per this date. Of this holding 8.34% (2,751,179 voting rights) which is directly held by Deutsche Bank AG's 100% subsidiary Deutsche Bank Luxembourg SA, 2 Boulevard, Konrad Adenauer, Luxembourg, is attributed to Deutsche Bank AG according to section 22 (1) No. 1 WpHG.
Furthermore, pursuant to sections 21 (1) and 24 WpHG, we hereby notify that the percentage of voting rights of Deutsche Bank Luxembourg SA, 2 Boulevard, Konrad Adenauer, Luxembourg, in Axel Springer AG, Axel-Springer-Straße 65, 10888 Berlin, Germany, exceeded the thresholds of 3% and 5% on 15 December 2008 and amounts to 8.34% (2,751,179 voting rights).'
