Annual General Meeting of Bellevue Group AG - all proposals approved
 

At the Annual General Meeting on March 19, 2019, the shareholders of Bellevue Group AG approved all proposals put forward by the Board of Directors.

The previously serving director Veit de Maddalena was elected as new Chairman and Dr. Daniel Sigg and Dr. Rupert Hengster were re-elected for another one-year term as directors until the end of the next Annual General Meeting. Former board chairman Dr. Thomas von Planta and director Dr. Mirjam Staub-Bisang had decided not to stand for re-election.

Two new directors were elected. Shareholders approved the elections of Katrin Wehr-Seiter and Urs Schenker to the Board of Directors.

Katrin Wehr-Seiter is a Partner and Managing Director of BIP Capital Partners SA and BIP Investment Partners SA, both based in Luxembourg. She had previously worked as a Principal at Permira, as an independent consultant for small to medium-sized privately owned firms in Germany, and as a Senior Advisor to Bridgepoint, an international private equity group.

Urs Schenker holds law degrees from the University of Zurich (Dr. iur.) and Harvard (LLM) and is an attorney with Walder Wyss in Zurich. He has extensive experience in corporate, financial and capital market law and is also an adjunct professor at the University of St. Gallen.

A dividend of CHF 0.85 per share plus a tax-free cash distribution from capital contribution reserves of CHF 0.25 per share will be paid. Bellevue Group shares will trade ex-dividend on March 21, 2019.
