Zurich, 28 November 2014
The Burkhalter Group saw a surge in profits for the first half of 2014 and is positive about its earnings in the 2014 and 2015 financial years. To express its appreciation, the Group will increase the salaries of its employees on a nationwide basis from 1 January 2015. Employees who earn up to CHF 7,000 will receive a salary hike of at least CHF 150. Regional differences in living costs, e.g. in the Zurich region, will lead to a monthly increase of up to CHF 400. Salaries above CHF 7,000 will be adjusted individually.
The Group's financial success is due not only to its strategy of accepting orders on a selective basis and various measures to enhance efficiency, but also to its highly motivated employees. "Employee satisfaction is important to us. If they are satisfied, so are the customers, and success is guaranteed," says Chairman of the Board Gaudenz F. Domenig.
The employees of the Burkhalter Group have employment conditions that allow them to satisfy their professional and private needs. The Burkhalter Group received the "Prix BalanceZH d'encouragement" from the Canton of Zurich in September 2014, also as an incentive to further improve its working conditions.
