Dynamic development on the back of strong organic growth and acquisitions Market entry in Scandinavia and expansion of business intelligence activities in the UK
Improved profitability: EBIT doubles to MEUR 6.4

Bielefeld, July 28, 2011 - With the publication of its half-yearly report, itelligence AG has confirmed the dynamic development it has enjoyed in the first six months of 2011. Total revenues rose by +28.7% to MEUR 153.5 (previous year: MEUR 119.3), with above-average growth in Western Europe in particular as a result of the acquisitions in Denmark and Norway and the UK. Revenues in this region increased from MEUR 13.3 to MEUR 26.8. The DACH segment saw revenue growth of +14.0% to MEUR 74.0 after MEUR 64.9 in the first half of the previous year. The USA, the second strongest geographical segment in terms of revenues, generated MEUR 39.5 after MEUR 30.9 in the previous year (+27.8%). Eastern Europe increased its revenue contribution from MEUR 7.8 to MEUR 10.0 (+28.2%), while Asia contributed MEUR 1.5 to total revenues after MEUR 0.8 in the previous year (+87.5%).
Herbert Vogel, CEO of itelligence AG, commented: 'We achieved strong organic growth in all regions. The companies we have recently acquired - Contemporary in the UK and 2C change in Denmark - also contributed to our positive revenue development. We will remain on the lookout for well-positioned companies in the SAP environment in future and will strengthen our portfolio on a targeted regional basis and with a view to innovative performance.'

itelligence's revenue growth was accompanied by rising profitability: EBIT improved from MEUR 3.2 to MEUR 6.4 in the first six months, with the EBIT margin increasing from 2.7% to 4.2% as a result. Although EBIT was impacted by non-recurring acquisition expenses in the amount of MEUR 1.0 in the first half of 2011, net profit for the period rose from MEUR 1.5 to MEUR 3.4. Earnings per share improved from EUR 0.06 to EUR 0.11.
Norbert Rotter, CFO of itelligence AG: 'Our improved profitability is attributable in particular to the high level of consultant capacity utilization. We have also increasingly succeeded in marketing our own IT solutions. Our aim is to systematically expand and internationalize our product range alongside traditional areas of ERP.'
itelligence has raised its forecasts and now expects to generate revenues of at least MEUR 330 for the year as a whole. The forecast EBIT margin remains unchanged at 6.0% - 6.2%.
