Photon Energy Considers Additional Bond Issuance

- Photon Energy considers increasing its 7.75% corporate bond 2017/2022

- Bond issuance is planned to be offered in a private placement to qualified investors

Amsterdam - 19 June 2020 - Photon Energy N.V. (WSE: PEN, ISIN NL-001039110-8, the 'Group') is examining the possibility of increasing the 7.75% corporate bond 2017/2022 (ISIN DE-000A19MFH-4). The bond would be increased in a private placement offered to qualified investors in the Federal Republic of Germany and other countries excluding the United States of America, Canada, Australia and Japan. Whether and to what extend an increase is carried out depends on the outcome of investor meetings at the upcoming road show.

Bankhaus Scheich Wertpapierspezialist AG, Frankfurt am Main, was today named the Sole Global Coordinator, tasked with organising talks with investors and supporting the potential increases of the Group's 7.75% corporate bond 2017/2022.

As a result of this potential bond increase, the company could, in the short term, take advantage of lucrative opportunities to significantly increase its own portfolio of PV power plants with a particular regional focus on solar hot spots Hungary and Australia.
