Sberbank of Russia awarded by The Bank of New York Mellon (USA)
for STP Excellence in 2011
March 1, 2012, Moscow - A delegation from The Bank of New York Mellon, NY, USA, headed by Mr. Sergei Kotov, Regional Executive Eastern Europe, presented Sberbank of Russia with the Award for Excellence 2011 in Recognition for Outstanding STP Rate.
Sberbank of Russia has been awarded for excellent quality of formatting payments routed via its Nostro correspondent account in USD with The Bank of New York Mellon during 2011.
As it was emphasised at the award ceremony, 20 years have passed since the commence of the account relationships between Sberbank of Russia and The Bank of New York Mellon in US Dollars. Mr. Kotov pointed out that, in the meantime, Sberbank of Russia has steadily performed high quality of payment formatting.
'This international award is a testimony to Sberbank's achievements in effective payments settlement and its unfailing attention to the customer needs,' Olga Kanovich, Senior Vice-President of Sberbank of Russia, asserted.
