Sberbank: Sberbank announces the change of Depository Bank under depository receipts program

Sberbank announces the change of Depository Bank under depository receipts program

April 26, 2017, Moscow - Sberbank of Russia ('Sberbank') announces that JPMorgan Chase Bank, National Association (the 'New Depositary') will replace The Bank of New York Mellon as depositary bank for its American Depositary Receipt ('ADRs') and Rule 144A Restricted global depositary receipt ('GDRs' and together with the ADRs, the 'DRs') programs (the 'Programs') with effect on April 26, 2017 (the 'Depositary Replacement'). The existing deposit agreements in respect of the Programs will remain in force and will be amended only to the extent necessary to effect the Depositary Replacement (the 'Agreements').

Holders of DRs ('Holders') do not need to take any action in connection with this notice. Sberbank will remain the custodian for the shares underlying the DRs.

Certified or conformed copies of the Agreements shall be available to Holders for inspection by appointment during normal business hours on any business day at the offices of the New Depositary at 4 New York Plaza, Floor 12, New York, NY 10004.
