Wimmer Family Office to launch inaugural Wimmer ETF Plus Fund

Wimmer Family Office is pleased to announce the launch of its inaugural fund, the Wimmer ETF Plus Fund, to coincide with the 59th anniversary of the successful launch of Sputnik 1, the world's first artificial Earth satellite.

The Wimmer ETF Plus Fund is a trend-following, multi-strategy fund blending conventional assets in the form of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) with commodity trading advisors (CTAs) providing tail risk protection. The strategy aims for a low to medium risk with a managed account liquid track record at an annualized 11.1% since January 2012. The Wimmer ETF Plus Fund is liquid and open-ended with a lock-up period of end of month plus two months.

The fund's investment philosophy is based on the fact that markets 'trend', allowing models to both increase returns and reduce volatility. Furthermore, 'peak to trough' drawdowns are substantially reduced, with the CTAs adding excellent diversification and employing tail risk protection to conventional elements of the portfolios.
