BILANZ Ratings 2016: Castello del Sole new no. 1 Swiss Holiday Hotel

Ascona, the 28th July 2016 - The Hotel Castello del Sole is number 1 in the hotel rankings of the Swiss business magazine BILANZ

After the 5 star hotel in Ascona narrowly missed the winners podium by just one place last year the team of the Castello del Sole have again managed to be awarded 1st place in the BILANZ hotel ratings after four years: "every year our staff of over 150 give their best to enable our guests to have an unforgettable stay. In recent years the Castello del Sole has consistently looked after the needs of a younger public and won over the seasoned, long-standing guests in the process.
So the previous winter the historic hotel wing was completely renovated. The result is 11 luxurious Junior Suites with a lot of room and superb interior décor. With the redesign of the sandy beach on Lake Maggiore, the neighbouring yoga meadow, the rebuilding of the Bar Spiaggia, which is flooded with light and the corresponding lounge platform, around 20,000 m2 of real added value was created for the guests.
