Clinique Générale-Beaulieu joining Swiss Medical Network

More than 50% of the shares of GENERALE BEAULIEU HOLDING SA sold to Swiss Medical Network SA

In the context of the offer of Swiss Medical Network SA for the acquisition of shares of GENERALE BEAULIEU HOLDING SA which was announced on 13 September 2016 and is open for acceptance until 17 October 2016, shareholders holding more than 50% of the shares have to date accepted the offer and sold their shares to Swiss Medical Network, including the participation of 29% acquired from Albin Kistler AG.

Both parties look forward to working together. By joining Swiss Medical Network, Clinique Générale-Beaulieu will benefit from the advantages of a national group, allowing the realisation of synergies and the development of medical cooperation through the creation of multi-site competence centres. The transaction will reinforce Clinique Générale-Beaulieu's position as the benchmark private clinic in Geneva and ensure its development, to the benefit of its patients, employees and physicians.

Clinique Générale-Beaulieu becomes one of the largest hospitals of Swiss Medical Network and the group has already undertaken to make further investments in the range of CHF 25 million over the coming 3 years in medical projects and in the patient infrastructure of the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu.
