In recent years, VERBUND has been evaluating all options for the Mellach combined cycle gas turbine power plant located at the Mellach site including its sale.
The management of VERBUND AG is announcing today that the sales process has been terminated as the purchase offers of potential buyers did not meet management's expectations.
New conditions in connection with the regulatory structure of the grid reserve will be evaluated in respect to the future use of the Mellach combined cycle gas turbine power plant.
