Strategic collaboration between Zur Rose and Medbase

Combination of medical and pharmaceutical competence and exclusive supply of drugs to Medbase Centres

Zur Rose, the mail-order pharmacy and wholesale supplier to medical doctors, and Medbase, the biggest service provider in basic outpatient medical care, are combining their medical and pharmaceutical skills in the context of a strategic collaboration.

The Medbase Group currently looks after 450,000 patients in Switzerland, with a total of
1.8 million consultations per year. In future Zur Rose will supply all Medbase Centres exclusively with drugs. The two partners will in future develop an integrated model for their patients, enabling improved care by combining their medical and pharmaceutical competence. In addition to joint services and offerings, Zur Rose and Medbase are also launching an online platform, on which they will publish articles on medical, pharmaceutical and therapeutic themes. Health products will also be offered in coordination with these topics, which can be bought through the Zur Rose online shop.
