Executive Committee change

The Comet Group is realigning its organization from an Operations perspective. Thomas Polzer, COO of the Comet Group, is leaving the company as part of this adjustment.

The Comet Group is transferring the business-specific responsibilities of the Operations section to the individual segments. This change creates direct, faster decision paths and enables more agile action attuned to customer needs. Going forward, Group-wide synergies will be addressed through global functional responsibilities within the Executive Committee.

Thomas Polzer, Comet’s Chief Operating Officer, will pursue new career opportunities and leave the Group. In his time as COO, he has generated substantial forward impetus and introduced valuable concepts for the improvement of operational efficiency. The Board of Directors and management thank Thomas Polzer for his contributions and wish him every success in the future both professionally and personally. He will remain available to the company until his departure.
