Zurich, Switzerland – Cembra Money Bank will realign its management structure. The Board of Directors has appointed Dr. Emanuel Hofacker as new General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer and member of the Management Board.
 
Emanuel Hofacker has been with the Bank for more than 7 years, currently serving as Chief Compliance Officer. Dr. Alain P. Roethlisberger, the former General Counsel, will pursue a new professional challenge outside the Bank. The change will be effective as of 10 September 2014. “On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Management Board, I would like to thank Alain for his commitment and his contribution to the development of the Bank in the past years. We are very pleased to have Emanuel leading the comprehensive Legal & Compliance function. Emanuel has a broad expertise and experience in legal and regulatory issues and is familiar with all aspects of our business,” comments Robert Oudmayer, CEO of Cembra Money Bank.

In addition, Peter Schnellmann will become Sales Leader Branches and take over responsibility for the business of all branches. Peter is currently leading the Institutional and Commercial Sales and is a member of the Senior Management Team. Prior to his current function, Peter Schnellmann held various commercial functions in the Bank and is the president of the investment committee of the Bank’s pension fund. With more than 20 years financial industry experience of which 9 years in the organization, Peter Schnellmann has been a key contributor to the business development of the Bank. Peter Schnellmann will succeed Heinz Hofer. After being 34 years with the Bank, Heinz will take an early retirement.

 

In connection to the realignment of the management structure Brigitte Kaps, PR & Communications Leader, will leave Cembra Money Bank to pursue a new professional challenge.
